He has created films for brands such as Telus, YVR, Top Hat and Lululemon.\u00a0<\/p><p style=\"font-style: normal;\"><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">Lon&#8217;s work ranges from documentary to narrative to commercial, and he leans heavily on handheld, direct cinema, and cin\u00e9ma v\u00e9rit\u00e9<\/span>\u00a0approaches, as a means to seek out truth and help people\u00a0contextualize complex issues.\u00a0<\/p><p style=\"font-style: normal;\"><span style=\"font-size: 15px; font-style: normal;\">Lon is particularly interested in creating compelling cinematic stories that support sustainability and socially responsible endeavours. In Lon&#8217;s film, Chance to Dance, he helped secure funding for a non-profit dance program that works with children in inner city schools. In Lon&#8217;s continued work with Unbuilders, he is helping raise awareness about the devastating impact of home demolition, and new alternatives that will help change the industry and save our forests.
